‘FINDING PEACE IN LIFE’ AS PART OF EASTER SERVICES
Pastor Brad Johnson to Lead New Church’s First Easter Celebration
CALABASAS, CA (March 30, 2010) – Life Change Community Church, under the direction of pastor Dr. Brad Johnson, will be holding its first Easter services celebration, themed “Finding Peace in Life”, this Sunday, April 4 at 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. at the Edwards Grand Palace Theater, 4767 Commons Way, in Calabasas.
On Easter morning, Pastor Brad will address the topic by observing challenging times that we all face as we live our lives. He will relate stories on how people have turned difficult times into lessons of grace and emotional healing and often find skills for survival through pain and recovery.
“We are a community that believes everyone is accepted so even on Easter, come as you are and don’t feel as though you have to put on false pretenses,” explained Pastor Brad. “That morning, I want people to open their eyes to the fact that the resurrected Jesus Christ is the only one who can bring life change to you and that this understanding is key to the process of spiritual formation and salvation.”
Pastor Brad, who holds a Masters and Doctorate from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, is the lead pastor of Life Change Community Church since its inception in January 2010. He has been a pastor for more than 30 years at churches throughout America, including Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California where he served with Rick Warren, the author of the “Purpose Driven Life” series, and Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village.
