Telling the truth is not the value it once was in our culture.  Pick up a newspaper and the newest headline has a story about a famous person who was dishonest.  Each person has been tempted to lie to impress, or escape punishment or to make the 'sale' in business.  Yet, the scriptures are clear that life will be easier, less fearful, less stressful if we learn to become truth-tellers.
